A Special Visit from Madrid – Sharing Our English Class Project

Last week, our school had the pleasure of welcoming two teachers from Madrid. It was a wonderful opportunity to share some of the work we’ve been doing in our English classes.


To make our guests feel welcome, the students prepared a delicious breakfast, showcasing some local and homemade treats. It was a great moment to connect and start the day in a warm and friendly atmosphere.


After breakfast, the students presented their class project: creating a virtual gastronomy business. This project was part of our English learning, where creativity, teamwork, and communication in a foreign language came together. 


Null, Miranda and Dafne explained the projects, their own food business idea, including branding, menus, marketing strategies, and more — all in English!


Our guests were very impressed by the students’ enthusiasm, imagination, and effort. It was a proud moment for everyone involved and a great example of how language learning can be fun, practical, and meaningful.


Thank you to our visitors for their interest and kindness — and congratulations to all the students for their hard work!

One of the first activities consisted of creating the business image on Leonardo.ai through a series of prompts in English. This is Halloween!!

Given the fact that today is Halloween, this week we’ve been diving deeper into the culture and celebrations of the United States.  Chloe, our conversation assistant from Wisconsin, has shared insights on typical activities, decorations, and, of course, the dishes and desserts that can be cooked and baked for the perfect Halloween party.  Additionally, we’re working on a project activity that involves creating a special menu featuring traditional dishes from around the world for this day and promoting the event through an Instagram account for the culinary business we’ve envisioned. As soon as we have the first menus ready, we’ll publish them in our next blog post.  We hope you enjoy them!!

Come and visit this bakery!!

  Welcome to Bakery! ! As part of our English learning program, my students have created Sweet Delights Bakery , an online bakery designed to help them practice vocabulary related to meals, drinks, and food. This project allows them to engage in a fun and interactive way while improving their language skills. About the Project This virtual bakery is a creative exercise where students apply their knowledge of English by describing different baked goods, beverages, and services. Through this activity, they enhance their writing, communication, and customer service skills in a realistic setting.
